OUR PRAYER
This, then is what we pray kneeling before You Father from whom every family whether "spiritual or natural inherits it's name: out of Your infinite Glory, may You give us the Power, through Your Spirit for our hidden selves to grow strong, so that Christ Your Son may live in our hearts through faith, and then, planted in LOVE and built on LOVE, we will with all the saints have the strength to grasp the breadth and the length, the height and the depth (of GOD'S LOVE) until knowing (experiencing) the LOVE of CHRIST JESUS, which is beyond all knowledge. We are filled with the utter fullness of God, (our Father). Glory to Him, whose power working in us can do infinitely more than we ask or imagine, glory be to Your Lord, from generation to generation, in the Church and in CHRIST JESUS our LORD and SAVIOUR forever and ever. Amen. An Invitation To: PRAY THE OFFICE

Vatican II (Social Communication) Part II (IV Forms of Artistic Expression - Verse 55)
Artistic expression both for its' own excellence and for what it does for us should be highly appreciated. Of itself, beauty ennobles the mind the contemplates it. The work of the artist can also penetrate and illumine the deepest recesses of the human spirit. It can make spiritual reality immediate by expressing it in a way that the senses can comprehend. And as a result of this expression the person comes to know themselves better. This is not only a cultural benefit but a moral and religious one as well. "It is a fact that when you writers and artists are able to reveal in the human condition, however lowly or sad it may be, a spark of goodness, at that very instant a glow of beauty pervades your whole work, We are not asking of you that you should play the part of moralists. We are only asking you to have confidence in you mysterious power of opening up the glorious region of light that lie behind the mystery of human life.
